Abbey House is a 3 storey house in North Street, New Romney. It consists of 6 bedrooms, there is a bathroom on both of the top floors with a shower room on the ground floor. The communal area consists of a large lounge with a separate dining area, kitchen and laundry facilities.
All the bedrooms are a good size and have a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and have fitted curtains. There is plenty of room for personal items such as computers and televisions. Tenants are able to personalise their room and can bring their own furniture if they prefer.
The lounge is fully equipped with sofas, coffee tables and a television and dvd player these all provide a homely feel to the communal area.
The dining area has a table and chairs to provide an environment for tenants to eat meals together therefore enabling interaction and social activities like board games.
The large kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, freezer, cooker, dish washer and microwave. It also contains all the utensils and equipment to cook meals and do any baking.
New Romney, although it has a Town Hall, has a small village atmosphere. It has many local amenities including
