At Reflective Care Ltd we are always looking at ways that we can improve the services that we offer. One project that is currently underway is the building of a training centre. This centre will be equipped with a modern kitchen, an I.T suite and an open space area for any of a number of activities as dictated by need. When someone moves initially into a supported living home, it can be very stressful and confusing.

The training centre will be available for people to help with the process of transition into a home for the first time. Daily living skills can be taught to people that may not have gained them to date, and so aid confidence and reduce stress. It can also be used to improve on current skill levels, to enhance ability and so promote more independence.

We are able through the I.T suite to help people to search and apply for employment amongst other uses. The open area can be used for any number of activities, one which has been raised many times is drama classes.

The training centre will be staffed by qualified trainers. At Reflective Care we try and ensure that people lead meaningful lives. We positively encourage people in all areas of lifestyle choices such as employment, further education, healthy eating and achieving their goals.
