Reflecting the needs of the individual
Here at Reflective care we learn by listening to our customers. We have an excellent quality monitoring system in place. Our tenants and their families tell us that we are doing very well. The source for this information are our quality assurance questionnaires, key-worker and tenant meetings, and also through regular reviews.
At Reflective Care we take great care in recruiting and developing our team. We aspire to employ the best and adopt a team work ethic that aims to deliver the highest standard and provision of care.
Recruiting the right staff is a fundamental part of our success. Our care teams not only need knowledge, skills and experience in best practice but also require empathy, warmth, compassion and excellent listening and communication skills. A genuine understanding of our tenants needs is required to ensure the best possible care and support will be provided.
As well as an induction programme our care teams receive specific training reflecting our tenants personal needs. All training is of a national standard and new employees are enrolled on an NVQ Care Certificate.
Quality Assurance
We follow a stringent recruitment procedure ensuring that our domiciliary care support workers are reliable and honest.
We ensure that our staff have regular DBS Disclosure Barring Service checks as this is paramount to the safety of our tenants.
Reflective Care also send questionnaires to staff, tenants, advocates and professionals, in accordance with QCS policies and procedures to help us maintain a high level of support. These are anonymous so if tenants feel they are unable to discuss anything with their allocated keyworker any issues can still be raised and resolved.
Spot checks are carried out on a regular basis and findings recorded to ensure the best care and support is provided at all times.
Management work on an open door policy therefore are contactable if tenants feel the need to do so.
